Lower Dir Launches Monsoon Tree Plantation Campaign 2026

LOWER DIR: The Lower Dir Forest Division has officially launched the Monsoon Tree Plantation Campaign 2026 with a plantation ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Lower Dir.

The event was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Lower Dir, officials from the district administration, and officers of the Forest Department, who planted saplings to mark the beginning of the campaign.

Speaking on the occasion, participants reaffirmed their commitment to promoting a greener, more sustainable and environmentally resilient Lower Dir through large-scale tree plantation and collective efforts to conserve the region’s natural resources.

The campaign forms part of the government’s broader initiative to enhance forest cover, combat climate change, and encourage public participation in environmental conservation during the monsoon planting season.
