Urvashi Rautela Claims Directors Use Dark Makeup to Lessen Her Natural Skin Tone

Actress Urvashi Rautela has claimed that directors in both Bollywood and the South Indian film industry often use heavy makeup to darken her natural complexion.

In a recent interview, the 30-year-old actress discussed the makeup used in her upcoming film. She mentioned that it is quite common for directors in these industries to apply “dark makeup,” and her recent film was no exception.

Urvashi Rautela explained that such makeup is often necessary for the character, and she has no issue with it since it aligns with the director’s vision for the role. She further emphasized that adapting to the role as per the director’s perspective is an essential part of being an actor.

It is worth noting that her new film Daco Maharaj is set to release on January 12, where she stars alongside 64-year-old actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.
