Indian PM Thanks Voters for Exercising Democratic Right

New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked people for exercising their democratic right to vote.

In his address to X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the basis of our democracy is the participation of people in this democratic process. It encourages the participation of youth and women in elections.

It is noted that the ruling coalition is leading in the provisional results of 109 out of 543 seats in the opinion polls conducted in the last round of Maslahat Rakyat to be held in India.

According to Indian media, Modi’s party’s Budget Alliance leads in 75 seats, while the opposition Congress alliance leads in 34 seats.
