President Asif Ali Zardari said India had taken illegal steps to undermine the recognized disputed status of occupied Kashmir and a continuous campaign to change the demographic structure and political landscape of the Held Valley.
“India’s actions are in violation of international laws, including Security Council resolutions, the 4th Geneva Convention,” the president said.

“For seven decades, the people of Kashmir have been waiting for the promises made by the United Nations to be fulfilled,” the President said.

Speaking on Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that August 5 reminded him of the dark day of exploitation when India illegally revoked the independent status of occupied Kashmir.

“Israel martyred 40,000 Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine. Ishaq Dar raised the issue of Palestine and Islamophobia around the world. Pakistan will take every moral and diplomatic step in favor of Kashmir,” he said.
Ishaq Dar said that Kashmiris have decided to flee from India and they have never been able to silence the voice of Kashmiris.
