TOBA TEK SINGH: Authorities in Toba Tek Singh have continued action against environmental violations as part of efforts to control air pollution in the district.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Toba Tek Singh Maham Asif Malik, in line with the Punjab government’s efforts to reduce environmental pollution.
Assistant Commissioner Kamalia Iram Shehzadi, accompanied by Deputy Director Environment Engineer Sarfraz Anjum, inspected brick kilns in the area and took action over violations of environmental regulations.
During the inspection, four brick kilns were checked. Officials found that three were operating without zigzag technology, while another kiln was operating without a blower.
Following the violations, three brick kilns were demolished for environmentally harmful activities.
The administration said enforcement against those violating environmental laws would continue without discrimination to help control air pollution and protect the environment.
Officials also stressed the importance of complying with environmental regulations and adopting cleaner technologies in brick kiln operations.
