MARDAN: Under the Ice Free Mardan campaign by DPO Mardan, under the leadership of SHO City Police station Abdul Salam, an awareness program on the harmful effects of drugs, especially ice, was organized at Government High School Labor Colony. The aim of the program was to educate the youth about the dangers and effects of drugs, especially ice, so that they can avoid this devastating scourge. SHO Abdul Salam in his address said that ice drug is ruining the lives of the young generation and we have to work together to eradicate it. He requested the students not only to protect themselves from this menace but also to inform their friends and family about its dangers. Abdul Salam said that the aim of this campaign is to reduce the negative effects of ice and encourage the youth to move forward for a better future. He said that with such awareness campaigns we can fulfill our social responsibility and give our youth a safe and prosperous future. Police officials said the campaign will continue across the region to curb the use of ice and other drugs and rid the society of this scourge.
