LAHORE: Water inflows, outflows and reservoir levels at Pakistan’s major dams and barrages remained stable, according to the latest hydrological data.
At Tarbela Dam on the Indus River, water inflow was recorded at 185,700 cusecs, while outflow stood at 184,900 cusecs.
On the Kabul River at Nowshera, both inflow and outflow were measured at 31,500 cusecs. At Khairabad Bridge, the Indus River recorded an inflow and outflow of 204,800 cusecs.
At Mangla Dam on the Jhelum River, inflow was recorded at 22,600 cusecs, while outflow stood at 20,000 cusecs. Meanwhile, the Chenab River at Marala registered an inflow of 56,900 cusecs and an outflow of 27,600 cusecs.
Among the major barrages, Jinnah Barrage recorded an inflow of 213,100 cusecs and an outflow of 205,100 cusecs, while Chashma Barrage received 207,800 cusecs and released 225,000 cusecs.
At Taunsa Barrage, inflow was 214,200 cusecs and outflow 187,500 cusecs. Guddu Barrage recorded an inflow of 162,400 cusecs and an outflow of 124,900 cusecs, while Sukkur Barrage received 114,100 cusecs and released 57,300 cusecs.
Further downstream, Kotri Barrage recorded an inflow of 42,800 cusecs, with no downstream release. Trimmu Barrage registered an inflow of 16,300 cusecs and an outflow of 2,300 cusecs, while Panjnad Barrage received 13,000 cusecs with no water released downstream.
