Actress Neena Gupta recalls the time when she was thrown out of her aunt’s house after the birth of her daughter, Masaba Gupta. Neena Gupta was living with her aunt at that time, and after the birth of her daughter, her aunt kicked her out in the middle of the night.
Neena Gupta explains that a kind-hearted and compassionate builder later came to her aid. In a recent interview, the 65-year-old actress talked about the challenges she faced while looking for a home in Mumbai. She remembered the time when she was homeless. It’s important to note that Neena Gupta had moved from Delhi to Mumbai in the early 1980s.
In an interview with a YouTube channel, the senior Bollywood actress revealed that she had never lived in a rented house. Instead, she sold her apartment and invested the money she had saved into buying a new house. During the transition, she moved in with her aunt, but her aunt threw her and her baby out in the middle of the night, leaving them with no place to go.
Although she had already booked a three-bedroom flat in a new builder’s project, the situation was strange because she had spent all her money on the new house. She contacted the builder from whom she had paid the full amount, explaining the situation and asked for the money back so she could make immediate arrangements.
The builder refunded the entire amount without any deductions, after which she bought a house in Aram Nagar.
It is also worth mentioning that Neena Gupta had a close relationship with legendary cricketer and master batsman Sir Vivian Richards, and they have a daughter, Masaba Gupta.
