FIA Immigration arrested five accused in three separate operations at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
The FIA arrested Hyderabad resident Muhammad Hasan after he arrived in Karachi from Kuala Lumpur with a fake visa from China and fake Pakistani and Omani immigration stamps.
The date of the immigration stamp on the Pakistani passport of the accused was not verified by the IBM system.
According to the accused, fake Chinese visas and stamps were made by agents in Malaysia for $134,000.
In the second operation, the visas of Abdullah, Amir Qarqbal, and Abdul Sufyan, who traveled to Turkey via a foreign airline, were checked and found to be fake.
In the third operation, Gulfam Ahmed, a resident of Gujranwala, was arrested while on his way to Indola from Spain.
The Spanish transit visa and Indola visa of the accused were also proved to be fake.
