At 60 years old, Konika shared that Kumar Sanu’s ex-wife, Rita, was deeply troubled by their relationship and once attacked her, damaging her car. It is important to note that Kumar Sanu and Rita are now divorced.
According to Konika, their first meeting occurred during a shooting when she was trying to establish herself in the acting industry. Over time, their friendship developed into a romantic relationship. During that period, Kumar Sanu was facing personal challenges and had tensions in his marriage with Rita.
