ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Ali Wasim formally launched a tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling at his office.
Chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee (ADRC) Tayyab Nawaz Malik, along with other officers and members, was also present on the occasion.
DIG Ali Wasim said trees were essential for securing a healthy and safe future for coming generations. He stressed that promoting tree plantation and creating a greener environment was a shared responsibility.
The initiative highlights the importance of tree plantation in supporting a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment.
