Iranian airline has launched its first-ever flight exclusively for women. According to Iran’s state news agency, IRNA, the flight, named “Iran Bano” (Iran Lady), landed on Sunday at Mashhad’s Hashemi Nejad International Airport, the second-largest city in Iran.
The flight was operated by one of Iran’s pioneering female pilots, Shahrzad Shams, with an all-female crew.
This is the first time a flight has been operated exclusively for women passengers and crew, with 110 female passengers aboard.
