Scientists have developed a four-legged robot capable of running faster than the world’s fastest humans. Named Black Panther 2.0, the robot was created by experts from Zhejiang University in China. Weighing 38 kilograms and standing 2.1 feet tall, it can run 100 meters in less than 10 seconds. The robot covers 10.4 meters per second, almost reaching the world record set by Usain Bolt in 2009. To ensure its speed, researchers equipped the robot with flexible knee-like joints on its four mechanical legs and added a carbon fiber structure for durability. The robot uses artificial intelligence to learn new things and adapt to its environment while running. The purpose of the robot’s speed remains unclear.
