Foreign Tourist Goes Missing in Dense Forests of Mansehra’s Musa Musalla

MANSEHRA: A foreign tourist has gone missing in the dense forests surrounding Musa Musalla, the highest peak in the scenic Siran Valley of Mansehra district, prompting a search operation by forest officials, police and rescue teams.

According to available information, two foreign tourists had travelled to the Musa Musalla summit for trekking. During their return journey, one of the tourists became separated from his companion and could not be located.

After receiving information about the incident, personnel of the Siran Forest Division, led by SDFO Jabbori Shehzad Ameer, joined police and rescue teams in launching an immediate search operation.

Search teams continued operations at several locations late into the night. However, no confirmed information regarding the whereabouts of the missing tourist had emerged at the time of reporting.

The difficult mountainous terrain, dense forests, darkness and challenging weather conditions have made the search operation particularly difficult for the teams.

Authorities and rescue personnel are continuing efforts to locate the missing tourist and ensure his safe recovery.

The incident also highlights the need for trekkers and tourists visiting remote mountainous areas to remain with their groups, follow designated routes and take necessary safety precautions.

Rescue teams are continuing the search, with hopes for the tourist’s safe recovery.
