HARIPUR: The Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Haripur visited Makhnial Forest Sub-Division to review forest protection activities and encourage field staff for their performance during the 2026 fire season.
During the visit, certificates of appreciation and cash awards were distributed among field staff in recognition of their efforts to prevent and control forest fires during the fire season.
The DFO also inspected the Nala Bhutto Reserve Forest and reviewed the overall forest protection situation in the area.
Field staff were directed to maintain effective patrolling, prevent illegal activities and take necessary measures to protect forest resources.
The department said recognition of hard work and good performance helps strengthen the commitment of field staff towards forest protection and conservation.
