MURREE: A delegation of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, led by its Chairman, visited the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Murree on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to review ongoing development projects, field operations and public service initiatives.
The inspection team was briefed by the Deputy Commissioner Murree, Managing Director WASA Murree and other officials about ongoing projects, service delivery and measures being taken to improve civic facilities for residents and visitors.
During the visit, the team also inspected the recently established Facilitation Centre at Kashmir Point, where it reviewed the facilities available to citizens, the mechanism for addressing public complaints and measures aimed at improving the delivery of essential services.
Officials briefed the inspection team on WASA Murree’s ongoing efforts to improve civic infrastructure and provide better services to the local population and tourists visiting the hill station.
The visit was conducted as part of the provincial government’s efforts to monitor development activities and ensure that public-sector institutions remain focused on efficient service delivery and the resolution of citizens’ concerns.
WASA Murree said it remains committed to providing safe and clean water, improving urban services and strengthening public facilities through effective planning, field operations and coordination with the district administration and other relevant departments.
The inspection team’s visit is expected to further strengthen monitoring of ongoing initiatives and contribute to improved civic services in Murree.
