Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping called for an international peace conference to resolve the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas in his opening speech at a meeting with the leaders of four Arab countries.
According to international news agencies, Xi Jinping said in his speech at the opening session of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum that the situation of the Israel-Hamas conflict is getting more and more worrying.
President Xi Jinping called on Arab countries to strengthen cooperation and cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, space exploration and health.
He called for an international conference on Gaza to establish peace in the Middle East, and said that China is ready to work with Arab countries on issues related to Gaza.
The meeting in China was attended by Egyptian President al-Sisi, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Bahrain King Hamad and Tunisian President Qais Said.
During the meeting, China’s growing trade relations and security issues related to the Israeli-Hamas conflict were discussed.
Note that China established the China-Arab Cooperation Forum in 2004 as an official mechanism for dialogue between China and Arab countries.
