RAWALPINDI: The Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) has intensified sanitation and drainage activities across various areas in preparation for the ongoing monsoon rains.
Sanitation staff are carrying out road sweeping, waste removal and cleaning of manholes and drains to prevent the accumulation of rainwater and reduce the risk of waterlogging.
The cleaning operations are aimed at keeping roads and public spaces clean while ensuring that drainage channels remain functional during periods of heavy rainfall.
The Chaklala Cantonment Board said its sanitation teams remain active in the field and are continuing efforts to provide residents with a cleaner and healthier environment.
The board has also emphasized the importance of maintaining drainage infrastructure and removing waste from waterways to support the smooth flow of rainwater during the monsoon season.
