Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after he felt breathless, as reported by ABP News. The actor was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where he underwent heart surgery after he fell ill.
According to the report, Bachchan fell ill and was subsequently admitted to the hospital where he underwent an angioplasty. The decision to have the surgery was made after the actor complained that he felt uncomfortable attending events.
Bachchan was subsequently taken to a hospital for a check-up, where doctors suggested he undergo surgery, a media report quoted him as saying. The veteran actor is said to be in a stable condition and is said to be feeling better after the procedure.
Earlier on Friday, the actor tweeted on his X account: “For gratitude at all…” He later shared another tweet with a video promoting his Indian Street Premier League team. “T 4950 – Aankh kholke dekh lo, kaan lagake sun lo, Majhi Mumbai ki hogi Jai Jaikaar, yeh baat ab maanlo.”
