BHAKKAR: Deputy Commissioner Ehsan Ali Jamali visited Kalurkot tehsil on Monday to inspect ongoing development and beautification projects aimed at improving public facilities. Assistant Commissioner Kalurkot Faiz Fareed accompanied him during the visit.
The deputy commissioner inspected Jameel Children’s Park, where renovation work is underway. He reviewed the repair of playground equipment, painting, cleanliness and other facilities, and directed officials to complete the work to a high standard.
He instructed the relevant departments to expand tree plantation in the park by planting more trees and improving lawns and green spaces to provide a healthy and pleasant recreational environment for children and families.
Later, the deputy commissioner visited shops being constructed under the city beautification project. He reviewed the quality and pace of work as well as cleanliness at the site, and directed officials to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high construction standards.
He also emphasized the need to improve the city’s appearance through better maintenance of green belts, cleanliness and public amenities.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner also inspected the ongoing installation of Tuff tiles at the Kalurkot bus terminal and reviewed the progress of the work.
