BAJAUR: The Bajaur Wildlife field staff has intensified activities across different areas of the district to protect wildlife, prevent illegal hunting and promote public awareness about wildlife conservation.
The campaign is being carried out under the directions of DFO Bajaur Wildlife Naveed Ali and SDFO Khar Sub-Division Muhammad Irshad.
As part of the initiative, wildlife officials are conducting awareness sessions with local communities to highlight the importance of protecting wildlife and preserving the district’s natural heritage.
Field teams are also continuing inspections of hunting licences and relevant documents to ensure compliance with wildlife protection laws and regulations.
The department has encouraged local communities to cooperate with wildlife officials and play an active role in preventing illegal hunting and protecting natural habitats.
Officials emphasized that community participation and effective enforcement are essential for safeguarding wildlife and maintaining the ecological balance of the region.
