A woman in India loses her life after swallowing a mobile phone

A woman in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh passed away after swallowing a mobile phone. According to Indian media, doctors made significant efforts to save her but were unsuccessful.

The 35-year-old woman, who had been suffering from mental illness for the past 15 years and hailed from Bomuru village, informed her relatives that she had swallowed a mobile phone when they inquired about the missing phone.

The mobile phone, which had buttons, got stuck in her throat, and despite an operation to remove it, the woman could not be saved.
