RAWALPINDI, August 13, 2026: Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi, has achieved another remarkable national distinction as a student of its Department of Education, Nimra Rafique has been honoured with the prestigious Prime Minister Award 2026. She received the award at a ceremony held at the Prime Minister’s House, Islamabad, on August 12, 2026.
The student Nimra Rafique was selected among the Top 10 Outstanding Individuals from across Pakistan in recognition of her exceptional academic performance, leadership, dedication, resilience, and significant contribution to the country.
Alongside her academic achievements at FJWU, she has distinguished herself in sports as the Captain of the Pakistan Women’s Blind Cricket Team. She has represented Pakistan internationally, leading the national side in the Pak-Australia Blind Cricket Series and captaining Pakistan at the T20 Women’s Blind Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
Vice Chancellor FJWU, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (PoP, T.I.), congratulated the student on this prestigious national honour and appreciated her outstanding achievements in academics and sports. She said the recognition is a matter of great pride for FJWU and reflects the talent, determination, and potential of its students.
