The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is ranked 144th in the world for Engineering and Technology courses. In the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2024, Pakistan has been ranked number one by subject for the eighth consecutive year.
According to the latest ranking, NUST is proud to be among the top 200 universities in the world for Computer Science, Electronics and Electronics, Civil and Civil Engineering. Meanwhile, the university is ranked among the world’s top 300 universities in mechanical engineering, aerospace and industrial engineering, chemical engineering, materials science and mathematics. NUST also offers courses in Accounting and Finance, Economics and Econometrics and Medicine.
One important aspect is the steady rise in the QS World University Rankings by subject. This year, NUST admissions in 15 out of 55 courses are higher than previous courses and placements in 12 out of 54 courses. NUST’s steady rise in the international arena is a testament to its academic excellence, innovation and scientific contributions in various fields.
