Zara Dar, a YouTuber who gained rapid fame after announcing that she dropped out of her Ph.D. program to create explicit content, has sparked significant attention. Following her viral statement, people became eager to learn more about her.
After her announcement about making explicit content, rumors began circulating that Zara was from Pakistan. However, Zara clarified the matter on social media. In a tweet, she explained, “Since I made the video about leaving my Ph.D. to work on OnlyFans, I have come across several posts spreading incorrect information about me.”
She further stated, “I have not given any interviews yet, but I want to set the record straight. My name is Darcy, and I shorten it to Dar or Darz.”
Zara also addressed the rumor that she is from Pakistan, saying, “With all due respect, I want to clarify that I am not Pakistani. I am American, raised here, and my family background includes American, Iranian, European, Middle Eastern, and Indian descent.”
She distanced herself from all fake accounts, products, and deepfake videos attributed to her, and shared her official Twitter account.
Previously, Zara Dar produced educational and positive content on YouTube. However, she recently announced that she had left her Ph.D. studies to work on the popular adult platform, OnlyFans.
