The website World Population Review has released a list of countries with the fastest mobile and broadband internet speeds in 2024. The United Arab Emirates tops the list for mobile internet speeds, with an average download speed of 297.62 Mbps.
Pakistan ranks 198th on the list, with an average mobile internet download speed of 19.59 Mbps and broadband download speed of 15.52 Mbps. This places Pakistan below countries like Palestine, Bhutan, Ghana, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, and Libya in terms of internet speed rankings.
Singapore ranks second with an average mobile internet speed of 297.57 Mbps, followed by Hong Kong at 280 Mbps in third place. Chile ranks fourth with 265.62 Mbps, the United States is fifth at 242.27 Mbps, Thailand is sixth at 232.15 Mbps, and France is seventh with 223.72 Mbps.
According to World Population Review, all the internet speeds are measured in megabits per second (Mbps). If considered in megabytes per second (MBps), the list of top 10 countries includes the UAE at first, Qatar at second, Kuwait third, South Korea fourth, and the Netherlands fifth.
