Virgin Galactic has taken four travelers to the edge of space and back into space, marking the second flight this year, Richard Branson’s company said Saturday.
The Galactic 07 mission took Turkish, American, and Italian passengers to an altitude of about 55 miles (88.51 km) in a flight that lasted more than an hour.
The mission returned to Spaceport America in New Mexico on Saturday, the space travel company said.
It marks the last commercial flight of Virgin’s VSS Unity spacecraft, as the company is currently developing its fourth-generation spacecraft, which is expected to enter commercial service in 2026.
