Karachi: A child was allegedly kidnapped in Nazimabad. An angry mob attacked a man in Karachi’s Nazimabad No. 4 on charges of child abduction.
However, it was revealed that the man who was attacked was the child’s uncle who was taking his child to buy something.
According to the police, investigations have revealed that the allegation of abduction of citizens by an angry mob is false. The man accused of kidnapping is actually our child’s uncle.
Police said the incident happened two days ago. According to the boy’s mother’s statement to the police, Kamran’s brother was taking his nephew to buy something. The villagers mistakenly thought that the boy had been kidnapped. The enraged people attacked Kamran and even tried to set him on fire.
The police eventually rescued Kamra from the mob. After filling the required documents, the boy was handed over to his mother and Kamran was taken to Nazimabad police station and released.
The police announced that they will join the investigation of Kamran’s attacker.
