KARACHI: Two businessmen were killed in firing incidents in two different areas of Shahr Quaid within a few hours.
According to the details, the armed men ambushed in the New Karachi industrial area and opened fire on the car of the owner of the thread factory, which hit 28-year-old Osama Mamoon and he died on the spot.
The police said that at the time of the incident, the deceased’s father and two brothers were also present in the car and miraculously survived.
Industrialist Saleem Mamoon along with his three young sons reached New Karachi Industrial Area Sector 12D from his residence Defence, when motorcycle-borne persons fired indiscriminately at the vehicle.
As a result of the shooting, 28-year-old Osama Mamoun, who was sitting in front of the car with the driving seat, was hit by a bullet that touched the opposite hand and entered the ribs and the young man died on the spot.
According to the police, four 9 mm shells were recovered from the crime scene. Eyewitnesses told the police that there were four boys on two motorcycles in the street with more people on their backup.

8 to 10 armed men opened fire indiscriminately in front of the Blue Ribbon Bakery located on Gurumandar within the limits of Soldier Bazar police station, in which the 25-year-old owner of Raju Ice Cream, Ijaz, was killed while the employee Adeel Shah was injured.
According to the police, 25 shells of nine mm pistol were found from the incident.
SSP Alina Rajpar said that the manner in which the accused opened fire suggests that the incident was a result of a very personal quarrel, but the victim’s brother has reached the hospital from which more information is being sought. While the police are looking for the closed circuit cameras installed at the crime scene including the escape routes of the accused so that with the help of their footages, any significant success can be achieved in identifying the accused.
He said that in the firing incident, a passer-by youth, 18-year-old Adeel Muhammad Shah, was also injured by a bullet on his leg, while according to reports, the accused had come to the ice-cream shop. was targeted.
