Abu Dhabi: The Government of Dubai recently announced two state-of-the-art construction projects, including the first floating pedestrian bridge in the Al Mamzar area and a 24/7 luxury beach in Deira.
According to media reports, these projects in Dubai, aimed at the modernization of Al Mamzar and Jumeirah 1 beaches, cost about 355 million dirhams.
The Dubai High Committee for Urban Development and Wellbeing said in a press release that the projects will be completed in 18 months. The development will cover an area of 5.7 kilometers (4.3 kilometers in Al Mamzar and 1.4 kilometers in Jumeirah).
The project was carried out under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. The aim is to bring Dubai’s public beaches up to global standards. The project will be implemented under the leadership and supervision of Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Executive Council.
The organizers also said that significant changes will be made to change and develop the infrastructure of this beach to make it the most modern and attractive beach in the world.
