After their defeat against arch-rivals India at New York’s Nassau Stadium on Sunday, the mood in the national team camp was tense with Pakistan players struggling mentally over the defeat.
On Monday, the national team players spent most of their time in their rooms, while the Pakistan team did not practice at all.
Assistant coach Azhar Mahmood held a press conference on Monday and said that the batsmen’s selection against India was inappropriate. He said the morale in the current team is very low and needs to be eradicated. Mahmoud says they can still come back and they won’t give up until the race is over.
