The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notification that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has nominated women leaders for reserved seats Sharmila Farooqui and Sehar Kamran.
Both have now become elected members of the National Assembly on a reserved seat from the PPP.
PPP’s Shazia Murri and Nafisa Shah resigned from the reserved seat after winning the general elections.

Notification of successful independent candidate Khizr Hussain Mazari from Punjab Assembly seat PP 297 has also been issued.
