Renowned Pakistani actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak recently appeared as a guest on host and actor Imran Ashraf’s chat show where she shared a rather unusual and disturbing incident involving a fan. In a candid chat with the host, Saheefa revealed an encounter during a dinner where a fan approached her and her husband. “A woman approached us…Imran, she insulted me,” the actor made a shocking revelation.
“She said you are from the industry and we don’t think women like that are decent,” Saheefa recounted as the fan insulted her for five continuous minutes and expressed disapproval of women working in showbiz.
However, before leaving, the fan made a demand on Saheefa, which gave the incident a bizarre twist. The celebrity recalled: “But the weirdest twist is that after insulting me for five minutes, as she was leaving, she asked, ‘Can I take a selfie with you?'”
During the interview, Saheefa also took the opportunity to highlight the importance of mental health and shed light on the challenges individuals face in seeking help due to the high costs involved.
She highlighted the staggering cost of Rs 3,000 for three sessions a week, which many people cannot afford and prevents them from accessing the support they need. To address this problem, she proposed the creation of communities and safe spaces by influential individuals where people can openly express their emotions and find solace.
Recently, the star took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his comeback project Rafta Rafta as he held the script with enthusiasm and positivity.
In an Instagram post, Saheefa shared a picture dressed in a chic white outfit, radiating joy as she held the script. Hinting at her much-anticipated return, the caption read, “Coming back after four long years?” This revelation created excitement among her followers, who were eagerly awaiting the star’s return to the screens.
The show titled Rafta Rafta is a project that marks Saheef’s return to acting. The actor also took to his Instagram Story to share more insights and emotions regarding the upcoming venture. Expressing her excitement in the note, she said: “I feel so good I’m not crying this time.” Reflecting on her previous roles where emotional scenes prevailed, Saheefa said that the new character reflects her true personality and offers a refreshing change.
