The exodus of illegal Afghans from Pakistan has surged, with a total of 513,506 departing as of March 12, 2024, marking a significant milestone in ongoing repatriation efforts.
Between March 2 and March 12 alone, a significant contingent of Afghan nationals said goodbye to Pakistan, comprising 3,254 men, 2,547 women and 4,444 children, contributing to a total return of 10,245 individuals to their homeland.
Underscoring the scale of the operation, 365 families, accompanied by 400 vehicles, successfully made the journey back to Afghanistan, underscoring the concerted effort to facilitate the safe return of Afghan nationals.
The large-scale repatriation campaign underscores the commitment of both Pakistan and Afghanistan to address the problem of illegal migration and ensure the well-being and safety of affected individuals and families.
