A few days ago, Nasir Adeeb, during a private TV podcast, made a controversial statement saying that two actresses were needed for a film’s cast. Reema Khan was considered but he did not like her. He claimed they didn’t respond and rejected her for the film.
This statement quickly went viral on social media, drawing criticism from not only users but also other actors.
Now, Reema Khan has broken her silence on the famous writer’s statement and shared her reaction on the photo and video-sharing app Instagram.
In her post, Reema Khan wrote:
“Call yourself the best of creation only when other creatures are safe from your harm.”
Reema Khan also shared a video in which she said:
“Allah has blessed us in many ways, and the biggest blessing is that He kept three things under His control: life and death, sustenance and hardship, and dignity and disgrace. If humans had control over these, they would disgrace everyone except themselves, as we often witness.”
She further added:
“Therefore, those who try to take Allah’s authority into their own hands end up ruining both their worldly life and afterlife. We should pray that Allah makes us better human beings.”
