Passengers traveling from Karachi to Dubai were stuck at Al Ain Airport for the last 17 hours due to continuous rain in Dubai.
The Karachi-Dubai flight landed at Al Ain Airport yesterday. Passengers are also not allowed to leave the airport due to lack of Dubai visa.
It is important to note that in the UAE, Dubai in particular is facing the worst rainfall in the last 75 years. In 24 hours, the entire life system was destroyed.
Streets and the underground subway system are all filled with rainwater. Dubai’s sewer system has collapsed.
Dubai International Airport was hit by unprecedented chaos as torrential rain and lightning caused havoc, flooding key areas and disrupting the travel plans of thousands of passengers.
Airport authorities have confirmed the problem caused by heavy flooding on the road leading to the airport, further worsening the already tense situation.
