Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed Pakistani candidates on Sunday decided to boycott the Senate elections in Sindh.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said, “After assuming our mandate, we will re-enter the political system. Those who have won the mandate will rule.”
“Lawyers have led from the front when it comes to participating in the struggle for real freedom,” he added.
Sheikh claimed, “Right now, only nine legislators in the Sindh Assembly have a real mandate.
Hitting the incumbent government, Sheikh said: “The prime minister, the president and the whole system are fake.”
