A significant study has revealed a simple and easy practice that parents can follow to protect their children from diabetes in later years.
According to a recent study published in a scientific journal, children whose parents keep them away from sugar during the first two years of life have a significantly lower rate of developing diabetes and high blood pressure throughout their lives.
The study’s results indicate that this effect remains strong even if the child begins consuming more sugar after the age of two, as the risk of diabetes remains low.
Despite public health recommendations, nearly 85% of children consume excess sugar daily. This includes sugary yogurts and cereals for infants, as well as sugary candies, pastries, and drinks for young children.
