Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hamad Azhar found temporary relief as the Peshawar High Court granted him bail for one month to avoid possible arrest.
Facing legal scrutiny in multiple cities, Azhar has sought legal recourse to prevent any imminent arrest.
Before Chief Justice Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, his legal team argued for leniency and prompted the court to inquire about the appropriate duration of bail.
The Additional Advocate General briefed the court and stated how extensive legal challenges the PTI leader was facing, prompting the court to grant transit bail in 51 of the 100 pending cases.
