PESHAWAR: Conservator Central Forest Circle Shah Hussain and Additional Secretary Forests Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Habibullah visited the Peshawar Divisional Forest Office to review departmental affairs and ongoing forestry activities.
During the visit, the officials reviewed various administrative and operational matters at the divisional office and received a briefing on activities being undertaken by the Forest Department.
As part of their commitment to environmental protection, beautification and promotion of forests, the visiting officials also planted a Pinus roxburghii (Chir Pine) sapling at the forest office.
Speaking on the occasion, the officials highlighted the importance of plantation and forest conservation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment and strengthening ecological resilience.
Tree plantation not only contributes to greener and more beautiful surroundings but also helps protect natural resources and lays the foundation for a healthier and more sustainable future for coming generations.
The visit reflected the Forest Department’s continued focus on strengthening forestry activities and promoting environmental stewardship across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
