ISLAMABAD: Pak China Investment Company Limited (PCICL), in collaboration with the Capital Development Authority (CDA), organized a Plantation Drive in the vicinity of Faisal Mosque, Islamabad, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to promote a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable Pakistan.
The event was attended by Mr. Abdullah Khurram Niazi, Member (Environment), CDA; Mr. Song Zhenwen, Managing Director, PCICL; senior management; employees; and their families. During the activity, more than 600 plants were planted.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Song Zhenwen reaffirmed PCICL’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible corporate citizenship. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in strengthening Islamabad’s green landscape and promoting environmental awareness.
Mr. Abdullah Khurram Niazi appreciated PCICL’s initiative and highlighted the importance of collaboration between public and private organizations in creating a positive impact on the environment and building a greener future.
The enthusiastic participation of employees, their families, and children made the initiative a meaningful effort to nurture nature, inspire the next generation, and contribute towards a greener and more sustainable Pakistan.
