The Pearl-Continental Hotel in Bhurban has been recertified by ISO-22000:2018 and HACCP, two prominent worldwide food safety management standards, after maintaining 100% compliance for the previous two years.
The widely renowned ISO-22000 standard for food safety management systems provides a comprehensive framework to ensure food product safety across the supply chain. It promotes a comprehensive approach to food safety, encompassing all processes from basic production to consumption.
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a rigorous approach to food safety that detects, assesses, and manages risks at all stages of manufacturing. HACCP was developed in the 1960s by NASA and the Pillsbury Company to ensure food safety in orbit. Since then, it has become the universal standard in the food business.
The internationally acclaimed TUV Austria carried out the recertification audit, which included a thorough analysis of policies, procedures, and documentation, as well as on-site assessment. During the rigorous evaluation, no substantial or minor non-conformities were discovered, confirming the team’s unwavering commitment to following the toughest food safety rules.
Haseeb A. Gardezi, Chief Operating Officer of the Hashoo Group’s Hospitality and Education Division, praised the strong audit results, stating, “We have a longstanding reputation for exceptional service standards and a commitment to excellence in all hospitality avenues.” Such sincere compliments would only reinforce our resolve and motivate us to work even more in the future.

We appreciate your continued trust and promise to constantly enhancing our services in order to stay at the top of our game. We’re honored.
