Two consecutive aftershocks rocked the Zhob area of Balochistan early on Monday, raising alarm among residents.
According to the US Geological Survey, this earthquake struck 61 kilometers north of Kohlu District at a depth of just 10 km.
Less than an hour later, a second earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale hit the same area. This earthquake had a greater depth of 151 km and its epicenter was 79 km south of Zhob.
The tremors caused concern among the local population, although there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and are advising residents to remain alert for possible aftershocks.
