ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has released the passports of two agents of India’s intelligence agency RAW, who were allegedly involved in orchestrating the killing of Pakistani citizens.
According to a press release issued here, RAW agents Ashok Kumar Anand and Yogesh Kumar planned and financed terrorist activities and targeted killings in Pakistan.
Alleged Indian agents hired assassins against the killing of Pakistani citizens in a third country.
Pakistani security agencies said that Ashok Kumar Anand and Yogesh Kumar were directly involved in the killing of Pakistani nationals Muhammad Riaz and Shahid Latif.
Pakistani law enforcement agencies arrested the facilitators and target killers while they were trying to flee Pakistan.
Muhammad Riaz was killed on 8 September 2023 in Rawalakot, while Shahid Latif was killed on 11 October 2023 in Daska by target killers.
According to Pakistani security agencies, Muhammad Riaz and Shahid Latif were peaceful citizens and their only mistake was to expose the ongoing oppression and barbarism in Kashmir and the disgusting face of India.
Security agencies have said that India has killed various innocent people in terrorist activities in Pakistan and other countries in violation of international laws.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi had said that India was waging a “sophisticated and sinister” campaign involving “extraterritorial and extrajudicial killings” in Pakistan.
At a press conference in Islamabad, Qazi said, “We have credible evidence of a link between Indian agents and the murder of two Pakistani citizens on Pakistani soil.”
He went on to say that these murders were part of “superior cases” and involved “a sophisticated international arrangement extended to multiple jurisdictions”.
Qazi described how Indian agents used technology and safe havens on foreign soil to carry out assassinations in Pakistan.
According to him, they recruited, financed and supported criminals, terrorists and unsuspecting civilians to play defined roles in these assassinations.
