Pakistan develops ‘Tim Tim’, AI robot to support Autistic Children

LAHORE – An AI robot has been developed in Pakistan to help children on the autism spectrum.

This AI robot is designed to understand the needs of autistic children and provide them with social support in all possible ways. The AI ​​robot is able to assist autistic children in communication and improve cognitive abilities.

This innovative robot was developed by Pakistani technology start-up “Haprow” and this AI robot was named “Tim Tim”. Haprow aims to develop such robots using medical, health and engineering technologies to create an inclusive and diverse environment for all people.

This AI robot is designed entirely in Pakistan, but some parts have been imported.

Haprow CEO Muhammad Ali Abbas claims that Tim Tim is more than just a robot; he is a friend and caregiver to children on the autism spectrum. Autistic children can learn and interact with robots.

This robot can walk and talk to children. However, the bots can only communicate in two languages: Urdu and English.

Several countries, including America, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, have shown strong interest in purchasing this sophisticated robot. An AI robot made in Pakistan will be ready for export next year.
