Pakistan has become the only country in the world where the popular streaming service Netflix has the cheapest subscription package.
According to data collected by Visual Capitalist in December 2023, it is the only country with the lowest monthly subscription fee for Netflix at $2.82, which is roughly equivalent to 794 Pakistani rupees.
According to the figures, the countries with the cheapest monthly Netflix packages after Pakistan are Turkey at $3.38, Argentina at $3.57, Egypt at $3.88, and Nigeria at $4.88.
On the other hand, the cheapest monthly subscription fee for Netflix is $21.48 in Switzerland. Additionally, monthly fees for Netflix in Denmark, Greenland, Ireland, and the United States range from $16.46 to $15.49.
