The Pakistan Army has successfully conducted a helicopter rescue operation in the highlands of Gilgit-Baltistan. To fly a 65-year-old man named Noor Muhammed from a Uzbek village to Minimar.
Noor Mohammed, a paraplegic, found himself in dire straits when a road closure cut him off from the medical care he needed. His health hangs in the balance when the road leading to Minimarg Hospital is impassable.
As a result of the quick action of the Pakistan Army, Noor Muhammad was immediately taken to the Minimarg Army Medical Camp and is currently being treated. He is scheduled to be shifted to Gilgit-Baltistan Hospital for treatment soon.
The families of patients like Noor Muhammad expressed their deep gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their unwavering commitment and timely intervention. Speaking on behalf of the community, Abdul Rasheed said the most critical time is when loved ones require urgent medical attention in the middle of impassable roads.
“All roads leading to Minimarg Hospital closed two days ago when our patient had a seizure,” said Abdul Rashid. “We contacted the Pakistan Army and they took our patient to the hospital.”
