Rawalpindi: National Logistics Corporation (NLC) made a big impact at the ‘Made in Pakistan’ exhibition held at the Uz Exhibition Center in Tashkent, attracting a large number of Uzbek business community, industry leaders and government officials. About 80 firms from other logistics companies and various corporate sectors of Pakistan participated in the three-day event.
The NLC store became the center of attention at the exhibition due to its specialized logistics services for the business community of Uzbekistan and other countries in the Central Asian Republic. NLC presents its wide range of services, featuring land transport and end-to-end logistics solutions using the Transport Internationaux Routiers (TIR) system. Delegates and business representatives were briefed on NLC’s time and effective logistics solutions.
One day of the exhibition was dedicated to the Logistics Forum to evaluate available options and make cross-border transport more convenient. DG NLC presented a paper on end-to-end multimodal logistics solutions for regional trade development.
As part of the exhibition, the NLC team participated in extensive B2B meetings with Uzbek officials and business leaders. During this meeting, they highlighted the organization’s success in opening regional markets through efficient transport services.
Officials and business leaders were told that the NLC provides the shortest access for Uzbek businessmen not only to regional countries but also to global markets through Pakistan’s Karachi port. They were informed that the NLC had recently conducted several TIR operations. The NLC fleet fully complies with international standards and is monitored 24/7 while in transit in various countries. There is a strong interest in utilizing NLC’s safe, secure and efficient transport services.
