Federal Interior and Counter Narcotics Minister Mohsin Naqvi approved and decided to conduct a National Drug Survey in the country after 11 years.
Mohsin Naqvi chaired a meeting of the National Drug Survey Committee to collect data on drug users across the country.
“National drug survey should be comprehensive and authentic. Accurate survey data is really important and will be beneficial,” said Naqvi.
“There will be no compromise on anti-narcotics, it is a question of the future of the nation,” said Mohsen Naqvi.
He directed the ministerial offices to complete the matters related to the survey within 15 days.
ANF and Statistics Bureau of Pakistan (SBP) should work out the survey procedure.
International development organizations should also be approached for cooperation in the survey.
