A complete set of instructions has been released by the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) in an attempt to expedite the procedure for youngsters under the age of eighteen to get identity cards and Form B.
The purpose of the change is to make it easier for parents or guardians to obtain necessary paperwork for their kids.
Procedure for applications
Visit a NADRA center with the child’s electronic birth certificate and one of the parents or a guardian appointed by the court.
One parent will apply and the other will serve as a verifier if both parents are present.
The application form needs to be confirmed by a Gazetted Officer or public representative (MNAs, MPAs, or officials from municipal organizations) if there is only one parent accessible.
The child must be present in order to receive the identity card.
Take the child’s picture and, if they are 10 years old or older, their fingerprints.
Adaptable record-keeping
It is significant to remember that a manual or school certificate from the Union Council would be admissible in the event that the computerized birth certificate service is unavailable.
